We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from the pretty village of Wolston we will head to nearby Brandon, passing St. Margaret’s Church. Thereafter we will follow field paths, tracks and quiet roads until we reach Brinklow where we will take our lunch break. We return along a bridleway leading to Bretford before joining part of the Coventry Way that leads us back to Wolston where there is a choice of pubs for our post-walk refreshments. There are no hills and no stiles but some of the paths could be muddy after a period of rain.
Meet for car sharing on the service road opposite Aldi on Chester Road, Castle Bromwich.
On arrival in Wolston, you will see the Half Moon pub on Warwick Road. Opposite the pub, in Brook Street, there is a small parking area for about 10 cars. If this is full you may be able to park at the roadside further along Brook Street.
