We are the Wolverhampton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A leisurely 6 mile circular walk along the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal past Bratch Locks to Dimmingsdale, returning on the South Staffordshire railway walk.
There will be a short drinks break and a slightly longer lunch break - so bring a drink and a packed lunch.
You are welcome to come along and join us, a pair of walking boots or sturdy shoes is all that’s needed apart from waterproof clothing due to our temperamental climate and a drink. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt. Non-members of the Ramblers Association are welcome to join us on a couple of walks before deciding whether to join the group.
Meet at : Wombourne Civic Centre, Gravel Hill, Wombourne, WV5 9HA - there is a large car park at the rear.
