Overview

An energetic walk from Wooburn Park through Hedsor and descending to the Thames at Cookham. From Cookham the route is flat along the Thames to Bourne End where we will break for coffee. From Bourne End we climb steadily to the edge of Ronald Wood and descend sharply back to Wooburn Park. Bring a drink and snack.

Meet in the free car park by Wooburn Park. From Wooburn Green, travel along the A4094 Town Lane and turn Left immediately in front of the Old Bell Pub into a road named Wooburn Town. Continue straight to the free car park (entrance marked by height restriction bars) in front of the right-hand bend which leads to Wash Hill. From Bourne End/ Cores End travel along the A4094 Brookbank/Town Lane and turn Right immediately after the Old Bell Pub into a road named Wooburn Town and continue as above.
