This circular walk will take us along the former driveway of a fine English country house leading to Umberslade Children's Farm. There is then a steady incline up a woodland track passing the old entrance gates to Umberslade Hall. The walk continues skirting Umberslade Hall over pasture land, and passes by an historic obelisk. We will have lunch stop at Umberslade Children's Farm where there is a coffee shop and a public toilet facility before meandering back through the attractive village of Tanworth-in-Arden.
The walk is on fairly level ground over pastureland, farm tracks and paths. There are some muddy gateways and one high and wobbly stile but I'm sure most of you will just leap over it. I may need help !
