Overview

A leisurely 8.5 mile walk with no stiles and mainly on canal paths, pavements and country lanes.  There is one field to cross and one hill.  On the walk you will see a post box for every Monarch – Victoria, Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, George VI, Elizabeth II and Charles III.   Edward VIII and Charles III are very rare but Worcester is blessed with both.  Other highlights include walking through Worcester City historic streets and riverside, crossing the recently opened Kepax bridge into Gheluvelt Park and a lunch break at St John Baptist Church in Claines where there will be an option of popping into the Mug Public House (an old Church Ale House) before concluding the walk.
