This is an easy walk on lanes, footpaths, through woods & nature reserves. Clean boots and only two stiles.
The walk in the Worcestershire Sandlands is undulating, on very good paths with views across the Wyre Forest. There are two nature reserves in the area that we walk through. We also walk alongside The West Midlands Safari Park accompanied by the roaring of Rhinos!!!
Devils Spittleful is the site of a rocky sandstone outcrop with a cave thought to have been used as far back as the Neolithic Period. The steep climb to the top rewards with fabulous views which we get to enjoy as this will be our lunch stop. Our return to the car park is along the Severn Valley route (the only area of damp conditions on route).
There are no facilities on this walk. Please bring your own refreshments.
