We are the Redditch Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts at Perdiswell Leisure Centre and will go to Ombersley Road to view a rare Edward VIII post box (there are only 150 Edward VIII post boxes in the Country). We then make our way to the Pump House where we will have elevenses (you can buy drinks from the Pump House or sit in
Gheluvelt Park and enjoy your own). From the Pump House we will walk by the river to the Cathedral to view a Penfold post box with a Victorian cypher. We will have lunch in Worcester (bring packed lunch or buy something) and you will have 90 minutes to a look around the City including the Victorian Christmas Market before regrouping at the Penfold post box. The walk will then continue along the river to Diglis Basin and then canal back to Perdiswell. An easy walk with no stiles.
