Overview

A circular walk of about 7 miles from Worthen up to Rowley on the side of Long Mountain then visiting the Rowley Castle Iron Age fort (aka Walton Camp). Returning via the lovely Beechfield Dingle and hence to Brockton. The usual mixture of paths, tracks and bits of quiet road and the usual probability of encountering mud. Fallen trees in the Dingle mean slight diversions and/or ducking. Total ascent about 1400 feet.
