Overview

The walk is along broad dry tracks (there may be one short section near the start which could be a bit muddy) climbing gradually through attractive woodland to Leith Hill. On route there will a coffee stop. We will lunch at Leith Hill where there are extensive views towards the South Downs. You can either bring a picnic for lunch or there is a shop in the base of the tower which sells drinks and snacks. Immediately after leaving the tower, there is a short steep descent for which you may find poles helpful. Thereafter the walk descends gradually on a broad dry track back through woodland to Wotton Hatch affording views towards Ranmore Common.
