Starting from Lyscombe Farm nature reserve car park, we head towards Doles Ash Farm and Piddletrenthide. Crossing the Piddle we continue Southwards to White Lackington, Doles Hill Plantation and back to Thorncombe Farm.
Views from the ridges contrast with the jumble of well maintained houses in the valley bottom.
Generally undulating, but with about 160m of ascent from the river area.
The carpark is hidden on the north side of the road, immediately adjacent to Thorncombe Farm.
It is a circular walk, please bring lunch, but no dogs.
