A circular, eight mile walk with panoramic views across the Hertfordshire countryside. Heading north-east of Buntingford, it loops around the village of Wyddial. Some sections include a slight incline and are likely to be muddy in places following rain. Bring a packed lunch. Pub stop available at the end of the walk at the Fox and Duck pub in Buntingford.

Meet outside Layston Church of England First School and Nursery, The Causeway, SG9 9EU. The Causeway has free parking although it may be busier with festive walkers on the 29th so worth getting there a little earlier in case you need to find an alternative spot in adjacent roads.
