Overview

From Yapton follow briefly the route of the Old Canal over farmland towards Ford.  From there follow good paths to Ford Marina and follow the River Arun northwards with excellent views of Arundel in the distance.  Leave the river heading west over quiet lanes and farmland via Binsted and Walberton before turning southwards over public footpaths back towards Yapton.

There are four crossings of ‘B’ roads and a pedestrian railway level crossing to negotiate. In addition some short minor roads to walk along and a couple of stiles.
The route is pretty much level.

Graded as ‘leisurely’, however, it could be ‘moderate’ if heavy going over wet farmland.
