Yarm Station

Start the New Year with a refreshing walk ready for the return to your regular routine.  This walk includes both urban areas and fields/woodland. It is a flat walk with one stile, but it may be muddy or wet on parts of the paths and fields depending on the recent weather at the time. 

We start by walking Eastwards along the main road, crossing the Jubilee roundabout and continuing to the turning towards Kirklevington prison. We turn right here and walk through woods and then a country road, before turning right along a path which leads directly to Kirklevington village. We then walk through the village, which has a range of interesting buildings, and we will stop just past the railway bridge for a short break. We then leave the road to walk through fields and woods to return back towards Yarm and then follow the paths to return to the cars.
