We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A flat walk with no stiles. We will visit historic St Marys Church, learn a little local history, follow the River Frome, visit beautiful Yate Common, then on to historic Stanshawes Court and Kingsgate Park. If we are lucky we will see the swans and cygnets. Finally the Chipping Sodbury workhouse and a bit more River Frome. There are also a few tree sculptures including a new Coronation bench. Ending with a drink at The Lawns.
Meeting Point: The pedestrian area between the Leisure Centre and the Bolero Lounge.
Hoping to go to the Lawns Pub afterwards.
Park in the Leisure Centre Car Park (BS37 4DQ) or there is additional parking over the other side of Kennedy Way. Please note that parking in the Shopping Centre car park is limited to 4 hours.
