This 6.5 mile circular walk from Sandhurst will take us past several lakes in Yateley and Finchampstead Ridges.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
We will head through Sandhurst towards St Michael’s Church and will follow a country lane down to Horseshoe Lake.
We then head through fields, before taking a path with an ascent towards Finchampstead Ridges.
Once we reach Finchampstead Ridges there is a nice view where we will stop for lunch.
We then head towards Moor Green Lakes and will follow the Blackwater River back to Horseshoe Lake.
We will then head towards and walk round Swan Lake before heading back to Sandhurst Station.
If anyone wants to go for a drink at the end we can go to The Rose and Crown.

By public transport
If travelling from Reading, please get the 11.24 train which will arrive at Sandhurst at 11.43.
By car
Please be aware there is not a car park at Sandhurst Station. You will have to park in a road nearby or you can park at Sandhurst Memorial Park.
