Our route takes us from Yattendon across open fields northwards to Ashampstead where we can stop to look at the ancient church, including medieval wall paintings. We then continue eastwards to Stubbles and then southwards along Pinfold Lane and return over open fields again, past Calvesleys Farm and Oaken Copse to Yattendon village.
Depending on the weather on the day we will have mud or ice and mud. Much of the walk offers views over open fields and woodland edges which means it is quite exposed so please dress accordingly.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times as emphasised by local signage.
Please bring refreshments for a mid-morning break.
Numbers are unlimited, so no need to book online.
