Please arrive by 9:45 to start walking at 10 am, anticipated return is 13:30
This is a 6.3 mile circular walk mainly along tracks and fields. We start at the layby adjacent to the Yorkshire Grey pub and walk down to the River Severn which we follow for several miles before coming back through Earls Crombe to the starting point.
It is a fairly level walk, with no significant inclines. There are about 7 styles but mostly in good condition, one style is very close to the main road, we do have 3 busy roads to cross.
One stop is planned where there is some seating by the river in Upton on Severn, please bring your own refreshments for this break.
There are no toilet facilities but refreshments may be available at the pub following the walk.
Please park in the layby adjacent to the pub. The Yorkshire Grey does a good lunchtime menu but is nearly fully booked for the date we are walking. They do however anticipate that tables may well be available for "walk ins" by the time we return, if the weather is good we can also sit in the beer garden and order food to eat there.
