Hello Everyone
We're Derbyshire bound this Sunday with a walk around lovely Youlgreave. Barry & Pam's route takes us to Over Haddon then follows the River Lathkill up the Dale towards Monyash before crossing back to pick up the Limestone Way for the return route to Youlgreave. Undulating terrain on quiet lanes, field footpaths, riverside trails, with one good climb using limestone steps and another through fields.
Fancy it? You're welcome to join us! Let us know you're coming please if this is your first time with the group so we can look out for you at the start. Thanks.

Directions. The start is situated at the entrance to Youlgreave village when accessed from the A515 Ashbourne to Buxton road at Newhaven, some four miles away. Satnav recommended if you're so equipped but if not as per below:
Proceed to Ashbourne via your favourite route, then take the A515 Buxton road northwards for 9 miles to Newhaven and the junction with the A5012 located on your right.
At this point turn right onto the A5012, direction Cromford and Matlock, and proceed for just 300 yards where turn left signed for Friden, Middleton, and Youlgreave. Follow the course of this road for 3 miles without deviation until you reach at T-junction. Turn right here and continue for 0.8 mile to enter Youlgreave village.
The car park is situated on your left shortly after passing the Youlgreave sign (photo of the entrance above). ⚠️This car park will almost certainly be busy. Car sharing strongly recommended and be prepared to block park if necessary.
