Although basically in the flood plain there was a section with a number of steep places. The rest of the walk was flat on good surfaces through an area with historical interest and a variety of nature to look at. There seems to be a problem at the far end. After taking the lane leading to a road I was told that there was no right of way and was directed back to the way I had already come. I found my way by other paths to the signpost mentioned. Although there was still a finger post pointing to Cilgerran village there was a notice stating that it was not a right of way. I realise that this part of the walk is in a part of Pembrokeshire remote from CountyHall but I was not clear where the blckage was legal or not.
