Wimborne St Giles circular

An undulating walk with good views on farmland tracks, footpaths and quiet lanes via Harley Down, the edge of Gussage All Saints, and Bowerswain, and returning to Wimborne St Giles.  May be muddy underfoot in places.   One stile.

A circular walk through Bolderwood in the New Forest starting at Anderwood Inclosure and passing the Deer Sanctuary and the Portuguese Fireplace.    Mainly level gravel forest tracks, but can be muddy at times. Bring a packed lunch

A circular walk from Wick Lane, Southbourne.  We follow the River Stour as it flows into Christchurch harbour to Hengistbury Head and after a short break on the beach return via the nature reserve and Wick Village.

Starting from the memorial in the Bournemouth Upper Gardens, we  walk across Meyrick Park and Pugs Hole and on to Talbot Heath where we have a short break.  We return via Coy Pond and the Upper Gardens.

Old Harry Rocks

Start:

Old Harry Winter Walk

A walk from Studland past Old Harry Rocks and over Ballard Down, past the Obelisk and crossing the heathland back to Studland. Good views of Poole Harbour and Swanage Bay. Moderate hills, back for lunch and optional pub stop on return.

Start:

Melbury Hill and Ashmore

A hilly walk over the chalk downs and woods south of Melbury Abbas.  Some steep ground will be crossed - you may find walking poles useful for security.  There will be two breaks.  Please bring a picnic lunch.

There are no facilities on the route.
