Fontmell Down and Hanging Coppice

From Gore Clump we will walk over to Fontmell Magna, then on to Fontmell and Ashmore Woods and Gallops, returning to Gore Clump via Ashmore. 

Good views.  Footpaths and tracks through fields and woods.  Could be muddy in places.   Hilly.

Circular walk via Wessex Ridgeway and Ball Hill.  Beautiful views and wild flowers, hopefully many bluebells. Some steep hills.  Bring lunch.

Start:

Circular Studland Heath walk

This is a circular walk starting from Shell Bay South Haven Point National Trust car park (pay).  You can use the number 50 Bournemouth/Swanage bus, alight Shell Bay Ferry.  We walk along the stony and rocky foreshore on the west side of the peninsular, and cross heathland to the beaches on the other side.  There is one gentle hill.
