Cornwall Wellbeing Walks is great way to get start moving more, why not join a local walking group. Ramblers Wellbeing Walks is England’s largest network of wellbeing walks, helping people across the country lead a more active lifestyle.

Active Cornwall manage the Ramblers Wellbeing Cornwall Walks locally with a number of valued partners. We work with these partners to establish group walks around the county, which are led by friendly, specially trained volunteers and staff from various organisations who are on hand to provide encouragement and support, making sure no one gets left behind.

As part of the wider Ramblers national programme, we are dedicated to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy walking.

Active Cornwall

Active Cornwall

Active Cornwall is an independently constituted organisation who are proud to work with national partners such as Sport England. Its role is to work in collaboration with key partners across the county to tackle the inequalities that prevent people leading active, healthy lives. This involves bringing the benefits of physical activity such as reduced isolation and an increased sense of belonging to targeted areas and populations, and thus enabling positive change for individuals and communities. Active Cornwall is working with key local authority services and more widely across the county to build capacity for place-based working around wellbeing and movement, including supporting the key outcomes of the health sector. Active Cornwall Vision - A Cornwall where inequalities are no longer a barrier to an active life. Active Cornwall Role - We drive collaboration to tackle the inequalities for active, healthy lives. Our passion, knowledge and innovation is the catalyst to empower positive change.
