St Austell Healthcare’s social prescribing team have partnered with our patients as walk leader volunteers and local organisations and businesses to put together 4 different walking groups.

We wanted our walking groups to cater for different needs of patients. Each group has a nearby bus stop, parking and toilets. They also have different walk paces to help meet everyone’s differing physical abilities.

The walks are not only good for your physical health but also good for mental health by helping you meet others and make good social connections. That is why each one of our walks starts and finishes at a café location so you have the option to stay and have a drink and a chat after each walk.
