This free walk is for families who attend stay and play sessions at Camdens Children Centres and Family hubs. This walk will only be able to be attended by families who have booked and there are limited spaces.
Our buggy walk will begin at 1a Childrens Centre and will finish at the British Library, where families will then have the opportunity to attend a story explorers session. There will also be time after for families to stay to have lunch that you will need to provide. There will be availability of toilets at the beginning of the walk and at the end, there is also public toilets which are situated in Corams fields which families can use mid walk if needed.
During our walk we will be focusing on how we can encourage and can develop communication and language through day to day activities, using language linked to our environments, exploring our surroundings, all whilst having an enjoyable walk together! The walk will be approximately 30-45 minutes and we will also pass through 2 green spaces, Brunswick square gardens and Cartwright gardens.
This walk is for children aged 0-5 and is accessible for children in buggies, as well as children who are able to walk the distance.
We would love for you to join us on our walk, meet other families within the community, build relationships and extend on your childs learning!
Please ensure that all those attending are dressed appropriately for the weather as the walk will be going ahead sun, rain or snow!
