Overview

There are two walks available on a Monday morning with the Bury Ramblers Wellbeing Walks team. One is a shorter walk of up to 30 minutes, the second is approximately 60 minutes. There are several different routes around Nowton Park for all walkers to enjoy.

The shorter walk is a grade 2 walk and the longer walk is a grade 3 walk.

The group meets in front of the cafe for registration at 10.00am for the walk to start at 10.15am. Please note there is car parking and that fees apply.

Either walk takes you on a route around the woodland areas, across the paths and through the tree lines and paths around Nowton Park. There are slight inclines at various stages of the walk and, depending on the weather, it can be muddy underfoot.
