Overview

Captain’s Wood Sudbourne (Suffolk Wildlife Nature Reserve). Join Fiona and Chris for a meander through a carpet of bluebells (hopefully!) in an ancient woodland where fallow deer roam.

This is a grade 4, 90 minute walk and the meet point is on the grassy area, opposite All Saints Church in  Sudbourne (not the Baptist Church).

Please note dogs are not welcome on this walk due to dogs not being allowed in the Suffolk Wildlife Nature Reserve. There is free parking on the grass verge at the meeting point.

There are refreshments available to purchase nearby. Please note there are no toilets available on this walk.

Due to the varied terrain on this walk it is not suitable for wheelchair users and its not accessible by public transport.
