Overview

Discover the charm of Dawlish with our popular wellbeing walks, designed for all abilities and interests. Whether you’re seeking a gentle 30-minute stroll or a longer adventure with a friendly group, we’ve got three options to suit your pace. Every walk is a chance to enjoy stunning coastal scenery, meet new people, and boost your wellbeing.

This is our Grade 1 – Short Walk: About 30 minutes on level ground at a relaxed pace. Ideal for beginners or those using walking aids.

Expect a friendly, sociable atmosphere as we explore parks, woodlands, and nature reserves. Along the way, we’ll pause to admire views, spot wildlife, and share local stories. These walks are all about wellbeing – fresh air, gentle exercise, and good company.

Walk routes are chosen on the day to match weather conditions, so every outing feels fresh and enjoyable. Some walks may include a short bus ride (e.g., to Teignmouth or Dawlish Warren), so please bring your Bus Pass if you have one.

The walks usually end at a café, this is optional for all walkers, however it is a good time to socialise.

When and Where: Every Monday at 10:15 am. Starting Point: Sea end of The Lawns, Dawlish, EX7 9PH. Car Parking nearby (charges) and public toilets nearby.
