Overview

This group is exclusively for people of color and immigrants. 

An easy 60 minute linear walk (max. 1.5km) along a local Camden canal route, helping care for the space by picking up litter as we go. All on solid, hard-standing paths — no muddy ground, though paved surfaces may be wet after rain. Litter-picking equipment provided in partnership with CleanupUK.

We'll meet at 10am at the entrance to Camley Street Nature Reserve. Your walk leader will give a quick briefing and hand out equipment before we set off down the canal towpath. Please feel free to use the facilities there before we set off to fill up water bottles and use the toilet.

We will end our walk at Hawley Wharf where some volunteers can choose to stop to wash hands, use the toilets or stop for coffee. Our walk leader and some volunteers will return all the equipment and refuse bags back to Castlehaven Community Centre, there is a water point as Castlehaven Park for those who want to fill up their water bottles.
