Overview

Another fabulous walk with amazing 360 views. We will follow the road uphill for a short way, then take the path on the right hand side to the Quarry, then on to the stack. The walk is on uneven footpaths and partly road.

A walk with scenery in abundance, mining and quarrying history and far reaching views, Kit Hill dominates at 334 metres high, dominates the area between Callington and the River Tamar in southeast Cornwall, England, UK.

Our friendly Tamar & Bere Wellbeing Walks group, led by experienced and supportive walk leaders, meets every Thursday morning at 10am to visit various locations in the Tamar Valley National Landscape. It’s really a great way to meet new people, explore the area, and improve your health – and, like all Wellbeing Walks, it’s free and there is no need to book! We like to have time for a cuppa afterwards, either in a local café or at the Tamar Valley Centre near Gunnislake – whichever is most convenient.
