Overview

Walking in Mote Park is like walking in the countryside! The park is huge and has lovely views, a former stately home and a large lake. The walks are very accessible with parking on-site, well surfaced paths and tracks through woodland with only a few gentle slopes. Most routes are suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

Two walks are run each Tuesday from near the Café commencing at 10.30 sharp. The Long Walk is generally just over an hour in duration, taking in some the longer footpaths, whilst the Short Walk covers less distance and is at a more leisurely pace with more pauses for the less active and lasts up to an hour.

The new Café should have opened from the beginning of April meaning walkers will, after the walks, be able to get refreshments whilst continuing the socialising.
