Overview

Join us for a beautiful walk along the river Esk at Longtown and discover Wilkins Pool. This is a walk of gravel paths and grassy footpaths with some small inclines.  As some sections can get muddy in wet weather please wear suitable footwear for the conditions. The route will be assessed prior to the day of the walk to check conditions.  Please note that there is a small gate on the route with a narrow entrance.

On street parking at Bank Street and/or Esk Street.  There are cafes within Longtown where refreshments can be purchased after the walk.
