Come and join us for this walk in nature starting from Russells Hall Park and going round the fantastic Barrow Hill Nature Reserve. It gives a great chance to be in nature, meet others and see local landmarks such as the Barrow Hill Cross.
The walk meets on the the dates listed below at 12pm by the picnic bench on Russells Hall Park (this is the entrance by the car park on Middlepark Road) and lasts for approximately 1 hour.

New walkers are always welcome to join, just turn up - no booking is required. Dogs can be brought along too, provided they are well behaved and on leads.
It is a circular walk returning to the park by the entrance off Overfield Road near to the primary school. The walk uses marked paths in the nature reserve, some sections of which can be muddy, with uneven ground and slight inclines. Therefore is not suitable for wheelchairs or push chairs. Sensible clothing and footwear is recommended.
After the walk join the group at Living Hope Church (which is a 5 minute walk) for tea, coffee and cake (costing £2) and even some crafts, games and quizzes!
Getting to the walk
Car - There is a free, small car park off Middlepark Road that is by one of the entrances into the park
Public transport - The nearest bus stops are for numbers 2 and 2a.
