Welcome to Tadworth Woods.
A walk through beautiful woodland and heath over easy terrain. The landscape changes with the seasons. Experience a variety of trees; wide paths; bluebells; and ponds. There is even a large crater; the result of a WW11 bomb (this is not walked through by walkers). The shady woodland provides welcome cover during warm summer months.
This walk is 45 - 60 minutes. It has been risk assessed and is safely led by a trained walk leader.
The walk is free to attend and no booking required.
Just turn up 10-minutes before setting off. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. Parking is available on the local roads and the start point can be accessed by public transport:
460 and 420 buses - 5 minutes walk from the start point.
Tadworth railway station - 10 minutes walk from the start point.
