Overview

Join us for a walk from Turf Tavern along Hadrian’s Way into Rickerby Park. This is an evening walk based from the lovely warm Turf Tavern. This is a flat tarmacked route that is suitable for all weathers and all walkers. We cross over the River Eden on the Memorial Bridge.

As this is an Evening/Night stroll please bring some lighting as we will be getting the full experience of going into a park with no lights but with added chat and laughter!

Turf Tavern can give free parking if you enter your registration inside or it’s so easy to use the footpaths under Harwicke Circus and just past the Sands Centre. There is also facilities and plenty of choices for refreshments.

We will walk for around an hour or 2.4miles or 3.8km of easy tarmac.
