Overview

The walk meets outside Hook Meadow Library

The walk meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month and will leave at 10am.

The Walk in the Park programme across Medway offers a free, small community-led initiative designed to encourage gentle physical activity and social connection through accessible walking sessions in local green spaces.

Delivered by A Better Medway, these walks are held weekly at locations such across Medway and are open to individuals of all ages and abilities.

Participants are invited to walk at their own pace along circular routes that offer opportunities to rest and chat with others before, during or after the walk.

All walk leaders are trained volunteers alongside the Ramblers Wellbeing Walks: Medway. The programme also offers opportunities for participants to become walk leaders themselves and help others.

By promoting wellbeing, confidence, and community engagement through active volunteering.

When a walk has no walk leader, then we advise you go for a walk yourself so you do not miss out.
