Walks are over easy ground and taken at steady pace to suit everyone
Walks range from 10 to 90 minutes in length
At least one short walk a week, starting at the same time and place every week
All walks are accessible on foot or by public transport
You only need to join a group once to access all future walks
An 80 minute walk from Biggar Bank Roundhouse, by the bus stop, down Ocean Rd to Walney Channel with its views of Jubilee Bridge and Black Combe across at Millom. Then just before the ancient North Scale village we turn inland and head up Mill Lane and across Furness Golf Links to the shore. There is a short piece of soft dry sand (which can be avoided) then the Walney Greenway returns to Biggar Bank where walkers can meet for a coffee and chat.
