Join us for a leisurely walk around the beautiful grounds of Whitaker Park in Rawtenstall. See the Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery, pass by the incredible edible area and visit the newly refurbished tennis courts. Build up your daily step count on our relaxed walk, enjoy the scenery and connect with nature. Find out about some of the exciting community projects happening in the park. This walk is suitable for buggies.
Toilets are available at the start point. The walk is undulating with some inclines towards the upper area of the park. Benches are situated around the park, allowing opportunities to take rest breaks. The walk is lead by one of our qualified health coaches. Free parking is available with an overflow carpark at the back of the museum.
