Hike Norfolk is a group for walkers, new or experienced, that share a love of the great outdoors.
We have a programme of walks in Norfolk and neighbouring counties throughout the year. These walks usually take from 2 to 4 hours, during the longer walks a packed lunch is taken. We also organize some weekend walks to the hills, mountains, and dales of other parts of the UK. Additionally, we enjoy a regular programme of social events including meals out, gigs, shows, pub crawls, etc. as well as other outdoor activities such as cycling and canoeing. Although the majority of our mixed membership are in their 30's/40's, everybody is welcome to join and take part.
Last few months we’ve been busier than ever participating in the Ramblers Winter Walks Festival between 23rd December and 6th January. Hike Norfolk got 30 people on some of their walks, of which we’ve put on seven across the festival. We have participated in ‘Time to Talk Day’ on 7th February offering a chance to walk and talk for anybody feeling lonely and also led two walks on 18th February for UEA ‘Do something Different Festival’ for students to enjoy outdoors with us. Our group is constantly growing and on the lookout for new brave walkers to join our ranks.
We have a lot of exciting walks coming in March and few upcoming trips including Poland (Krakow) and Ireland. Our walks programme is constantly growing and evolving. Be sure to check links below regularly as we add new walks every week on our Meetup.com page and Ramblers website:
