We are the Castle Bromwich Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
By popular request this is a Spring time repeat of the walk done last winter. It reflects Solihull’s motto “urbs in rure” – the town in the country. It is a semi-rural walk from the town centre taking in parkland, meadows, canal towpath and a nature reserve. It is level and easy going.
There are refreshment facilities in the town centre for after the walk.
Please bring a packed lunch and drink with you.
For car sharing meet on the service road opposite Aldi in Chester Road, Castle Bromwich, B36 0JG leaving at 9.00 a.m.
The walk starts from Monkspath Hall Car park. Park in the long stay car park. Charge £3.50 for up to 6 hours.
