Choose a challenge event below and, by raising sponsorship, you'll support vital work across Britain that helps more people experience the joy of walking in nature. For each event, there will be an entry cost and a minimum fundraising target for you to reach. Kiltwalk: various dates from April – Sept 2026
Don some tartan and raise money for the Ramblers at the largest mass participation walk in Scotland! Kiltwalk is a cheerful and fun sponsored walking event held across four vibrant Scottish cities. With various distances, dates and locations there will be something that suits your stride. Contact the fundraising team to find out more and book your place. 26, 13, 6 mile options.

The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge: 13 -14 June 2026
Starting from historic Cirencester, walk the stunning Cotswold Way this summer. Choose your distance and go at your own pace through areas of outstanding natural beauty. You’ll follow a signposted route with full support and hospitality along the way. A fantastic opportunity to walk a famous national trail whilst raising vital funds for the Ramblers. 100km, 50km, 25km, 10km options.

Lake District Ultra Challenge: 6-7 June 2026
An epic stomp in the Lake District, this challenge starts in Kendal and takes you across some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain in the country. You can sign up as an individual or a team, and you’ll get full support along the way. Beyond the breathtaking views and money raised for the Ramblers, the welcome and huge celebration back at Basecamp will make it all worth it! 100km, 50km, 25km, 10km options.

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by Night Challenge: Various dates May – Aug 2026
Experience the rugged landscape of Yr Wyddfa by night on this two-day challenge. You will summit the slopes of the highest mountain in England and Wales in moonlight before descending as morning breaks. This will be a spectacular experience, offering you a chance to hike the famous mountain in a way that few people have – and at the same time, supporting the crucial work of the Ramblers.

Thames Moonlight 10 Walk: Friday PM – 11 Sept 2026
See London in a different light and join an evening walk through the big city. Sign up for either a 10km route or 10 miles and pass famous landmarks in the moonlight. Support the Ramblers by taking part with a group of friends or walk solo - you will be celebrated at the finish line with a glass of fizz and a special ‘moon medal’. 10 mile, 10km options.
Every donation helps
- £10 could help fund national campaigns to protect and expand everyone’s right to access the outdoors.
- £25 could help fund urgent casework when there are legal threats to treasured places and paths.
- £50 could provide essential tools so our path maintenance teams can keep paths clear and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
