Easy routes: These are walks for anyone who does not have a mobility difficulty, a specific health problem or is seriously unfit. Suitable for pushchairs if they can be lifted over occasional obstructions. Comfortable shoes or trainers can be worn.

Norfolk Coast Path

The Norfolk Coast Path covers approximately 84 miles from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea. It passes through diverse landscapes, including sandy beaches, salt marshes, and picturesque coastal villages. The route offers stunning views of the North Sea and the chance to observe wildlife in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Thetford Forest

Thetford Forest is one of the largest lowland pine forests in Britain and provides a peaceful setting for walks. There are numerous walking trails throughout the forest, catering to different preferences and fitness levels. These trails take visitors through varied landscapes, including woodlands and open spaces.

Leisurely routes: These are walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. May include unsurfaced rural paths. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are recommended.

Sheringham Park

Sheringham Park, owned by the National Trust, features landscaped gardens, woodland, and stunning coastal views. There are well-maintained walking trails throughout the park, allowing visitors to explore its diverse landscapes. The trails vary in length and difficulty, catering to both casual strollers and more serious hikers.

Holkham 

Holkham is a popular walking area in Norfolk, known for its spectacular beach, Holkham Hall estate, and nature reserve. Several walks in and around Holkham allow you to explore the varied landscapes and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. 

Before embarking on any walk, especially in natural reserves or private estates like Holkham, it's advisable to check for updated trail information, any seasonal restrictions, and respect guidelines provided by the landowners.
