This is a gentle evening stroll for absolute beginners to walking, on level ground with no gates or stiles. This would suit those wanting to improve their health, explore the local accessible paths, meet new people or just digest their tea! Calderdale is famous for its hills, but this walk stays firmly in the bottom of the valley! We will start in Luddendenfoot and meander along to Mytholmroyd, passing through Brearley's newest nature reserve.
This walk is circular, with Mytholmroyd as the half-way point, where you can return to the start by bus if you wish to keep it short. Luddendenfoot has several pubs at the start point where you can wine and dine as a reward for your efforts. Car parking is available on-road and in a small free carpark, and Luddendenfoot is on the main Burnley Road bus routes. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking, and clothing for the weather.
