Walk starts at Birchen Edge NT car park which is next to the Robin Hood pub. This is on the B6050 junction with the A619. Postcode DE45 1PU.
The walk is 7 miles and takes in Birchen Edge, Nelsons Monument, and the 3 ships. Also Wellington monument, Chatsworth, Hunting Lodge and Dobb Edge.
Parking is free for NT members or £5.00 per day, and there are 40 spaces.
