Overview

From the village of Cwmdu, we ascend on the Beacons Way eastwards on a minor road. After a steady climb, the path then largely contours around the hillside, giving a variety of views across the Rhiangoll and Usk valleys and to the hills beyond. We descend down Cwm Mawr and then contour through fields back to the village of Cwmdu. There are a number of stiles and be prepared for some muddy paths.
