Overview

A feature of this walk are the acres of bluebells on Merbach Hill which, subject to favourable conditions, are quite stunning.  The hill also affords wonderful views of the River Wye and Valley, the Black Mountains and the village of Dorstone.  Our lunch stop will be at Arthur’s Stone, an atmospheric neolithic burial chamber made of great stone slabs set high in the hills high above Herefordshire’s Golden Valley.
