Overview

A lovely walk with good variety in the North Cotswold countryside, walking from Ebrington and going via Broad Campden, the Northwick Industrial Estate and Paxford. Beautiful countryside and plus a little historical interest.

Note: this is a dress rehearsal for the walk which is scheduled for Saturday 29th June, as part of the 2024 Evesham Walking Festival.  A map of the route can be viewed via the weblink below.

Bring refreshments for a snack break

For those interested, post walk refreshments are available at The Ebrington Arms (adjacent to the car park) or the Vegetable Matters Farm Shop & Café, close by in May Lane.

The walk is on a mixture of broad tracks, field paths and some road. One moderate climb but otherwise not very hilly. About a dozen stiles but nothing really difficult. One short section of busy road to negotiate plus some stretches of quiet lanes. Commercial traffic likely to be present in the industrial estate. There are two railway crossings but the sightlines are good. Likely to meet some livestock (mostly sheep, but cattle/horses a slight possibility).
