Overview

An early evening one hour stroll along the Thames Path to Victoria Bridge and back across Datchet Golf course, past the boat houses and through Eton. There is an optional I-spy quiz along the route. The route is mostly good paths. At 7.30 we will gather in the King and Castle pub on Castle Hill for a meal.

Meet on Eton/Windsor bridge to start the evening walk. There is free parking in the Home Park Car Park at the end of Romney Lock Road, Windsor SL4 6HX after 4pm. There are plenty of other car parks in Eton and Windsor which may incur a charge. Buses 2,8,702 and 703 all stop outside Windsor Theatre which is a short distance away. The meeting place is very close to Windsor and Eton Riverside station and a 5-minute walk from Windsor Central train station.
