Our walk takes us down past the church to Grinshill village and Sanshaw Hall. We then cross the railway line and, after a short road walk, cross back and up to Clive past the church to the viewpoint on the hill and back down to the car park. There are 5 stiles and care must be taken crossing the railway line and on road sections. Drinks at the New Inn, Hadnall on the way back.

Corbet Wood Car Park. Along the A49 9 miles north of Shrewsbury through Hadnall to Preston Brockhurst. At a sharp RH bend take the road on the left signposted Clive then after a short drive take a left turn signposted Corbet Wood and the road goes straight to the car park.
