This is a figure-of-eight walk. It starts from the Cricketers, Fordham Heath, Eight Ash Green, returns to the Cricketers for lunch, and ends again at the Cricketers. The walk is estimated at 6 miles in the morning and 4.5 miles after lunch.

Maldon and Dengie Ramblers' Tuesday long walks are normally between ten and twelve miles long and are circular walks. There is a lunch stop, normally at a pub or café, half way through the walk
