Overview

An undulating walk around the South Western end of the Chilterns. From the Well we head west, pausing for a brief banana stop at the eclectic collection of sculptures at Lovegrove’s farm. Turning south, we pass on down through Checkendon Court and then East to our lunch stop in Beech Wood. We continue through the grounds of the rather grand Wyfold Court (formerly Borocourt mental hospital), and then after crossing Kingwood Common we arrive in Satwell. From here we head north west up through Highmoor Cross and eventually to English Farm where we turn south to return to the cars.

Moderate to brisk pace, please bring a packed lunch. Refreshments afterwards at the Cherry Tree in Stoke Row if required.
