Overview

  1. From Arncliffe we follow the footpath alongside the river Skirfare to Hawkswick foot bridge. We then have a short road walk which takes us to Arncliffe Cote at which point we take the path for a long steady climb up to High Linseed. From this point the path meanders down towards Great Close hill, we then turn off and head over to Middle House farm and onto the Monks Road path which we follow down to Malham Tarn where we will stop for a lunch break.

After the break we retrace our steps back to Middle House farm and continue on along the Monks road across the moor and back into Arncliffe.
